The Oculus Quest is a new VR headset that offers six Degrees of Freedom (DoF) for both head and hand tracking. The device is notably wire-free, PC free, can be used in any room of the house, and has built-in sensors. It is also Facebook's first foray into an all-inclusive, wire and PC free, VR device. The Rift is a PC driven VR headset. However, the Quest does allow users to play games in practically any location, while the Rift is tied to the location of its associated PC.
