One of the most popular Christmas gift this year was the long-anticipated and much-coveted
hoverboard. Retailers like Target, Wal-Mart, and ToysRUs had trouble keeping them in stock in the weeks leading up to Christmas (Wal-Mart didn't manage it) and social media has been rich in the days following the holidays with video of proud new hoverboard owners showing off their new toys. And then promptly
falling off of them.
From celebrity athletes
to the agile young
proud new hoverboarders are having trouble staying on board.
Of course, there are those out there who seem to have mastered the gadget.
It seems that hoverboards, like skateboards before them, take some getting used to. In the meantime, a helmet and wrist guards are probably a good idea. And a cool-looking hoverboard skin to mitigate less-than-cool, but probably inevitable, tumble. Plus, with an attractive skin, your hoverboard will at least make a nice decoration while youre waiting for your cast to come off. And not to worry, our skins are custom cut to fit the board, so those all-important foot grips will remain grippy.
